It is not a population sample - IE: we didn’t randomly pick 3000 people and observed who they donated to. Or in other words: we asked the whole population who they wanted to donate to and 97,000 said “none”.

Did you actually look at the numbers? You should give it a try. The best you can get from those numbers is that people are more likely to donate to the Democratic party than the Republican one. For example: true, 99.4% of the donations from

Just to get the numbers right: [0] there is a $25 minimum, that becomes $50 June 1st, on all packages below or at $800. So those $0.25 transistors - after June 1st - come at $50.25 plus shipping. [0] https://www.whitehouse.gov&#x

I think some of the AI demos are kind of comedy gems. I have seen the Apple Intelligence presentation a while ago and in the span of five minutes they had someone asking the assistant to expand a one liner into an e-mail and then someone re

Not the op, but no - I don't see anything wrong with the scenario: the employer is making the call, and if they find the speech of the employee doesn't fit with their worldview they have all the rights to fire them. Practical exam

Could you give some numbers to back it up? Considering the loss due to inflation from 2019 [1] I would have expected the truck to get to around $49,200. [1] https://www.in2013dollars.com/us/inflation/2019?amount=1

Could you please cite sources on this? Just looking at Rivian [1] they delivered 37,396 units this year alone. Tesla doesn't officially publish numbers, but the Cybertruck recall from few weeks ago tells us around 27,185 total [2]. I

The kicker for me was: only few people are allowed back the recovered Earth. Any guesses about who gets to go back and enjoy a pristine Earth?

In C any value != 0 is considered true. Nothing special about 7, he could have used any other number, but 7 is a single character, so he used that.

I try to explain to my U.S. colleagues that the fundamental difference is in the approach to funding. In the States there is a ‘gambling’ approach to funding: I fund 100 initiatives 1 coin and I expect one if them will give me back 10000 co

Interesting that they limited the clause to only audio, video and chat. Looking at their definition of Customer Content it means that they can use, for example, documents you shared, transcripts, a very nebulous ‘outputs’ and visual display

When I saw the R1 chip in there and the functions it has I immediately thought: 'This is a chip they are using for sensor fusion in their self-driving moonshot, it just happens to also work for the AR headset'.

Think about it these terms: originally there are 100 people in the line because the 101st will not queue since the time to get to the beginning of the line is more valuable than the raspberries at the controlled price. If nothing changes th

I see a couple of straw-mans in the reasoning. First is the claim that taxation assumes that working you get paid for nothing - "When I work hard to earn money, I’m not getting something for nothing. I’m getting something for my time a
