GLPI with FusionInventory for IT Asset Management and Knowledge Base. GitLab for repositories, adhoc documentation via gists and CI/CD. Nagios for monitoring. Open to trying other things out if they make sense.

I found Jan Lehnardt's vision for CouchDB very compelling. It allows CouchDB to be the feature-rich core of a large, complex ecosystem, yet retain a ruthless focus on being the best multi-master replicating database available.

Agreed. Been wondering where the fork in the road happened. Was it going OOP instead of FP? Should we be doing domain-driven design & using DSLs everywhere? Should we be using macros to write code that writes code as a routine practice

Having made a similar transition a few years ago from a mouseless linux desktop using ruby-wmii on a thinkpad to osx on a macbook, I find ShiftIt works for tiling windows using the keyboard.

Android-wise, I've been using Pubtran London. The new Transit Navigation feature in Google Maps for Android, goes a long way to making Pubtran redundant. Will be interesting to see how the Pubtran author raises his game in response.
