I don't see how it would impact Apple Pay, for example. In Australia, we have instant payments already, and Apple/Google/Samsung Pay is used alongside it - completely separate.

It's always going to vary depending on your location. Google Maps still has far richer business listings, Apple Maps is getting there in capital cities but still nowhere near as close as Google. I'm in Australia, a recent example

I wouldn't see them enforcing needing a Facebook account, in the same way that you don't need a Facebook account to use Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp. That's almost worse in a way.

I tried Steam Link on my Android TV and it ran like hot garbage - I think the main issue I had was bluetooth input lag was very bad. My physical Steam Link still works very well with my bluetooth controller.

Nothing off the top of my head, I think people jumped ship off LastPass when they were bought out by LogMeIn. I know they chopped and changed what you could get between the free and premium versions a while ago.

The problem is Facebook isn't just... Facebook. It's Messenger. and Instagram. and WhatsApp. I could easily cut all of those things but unfortunately literally everyone I know uses Messenger for day to day messaging.

That's it, it's not so much the "killer apps" anymore but the little things that you can fix up. The one downside to jailbreaking which I never found a working solution for was numerous apps that had jailbreak detection
