Davinci Resolve for video editing. It's what I'd use on Windows, as well. Lightroom vs Gimp does not make sense, should be Gimp vs Photoshop if anything. For photos you can use digikam + darktable/rawtherapee.

Doubtful all services are ever down simultaneously, either way: What do devs do when Github or Gitlab is down? AWS? GCP? Azure? Or whatever Atlassian product they're using. Plus, most devs do a bit more than just produce lines of code.

Switched to Vivaldi long time ago. For reasons like this, ToS, Mozilla changing their mission, etc. Vivaldi respects your privacy, supports Chrome extensions, and all the customizations you'd ever need.
