It depends. It's not like there's no safe way of using strcpy and sprintf.

C99 compiler won't do, it also requires a GCC extension (statement expressions).

I disagree. Even in 2014 we have a place for different kinds of new languages. If we didn't, the likes of C++ would live forever with all their shortcomings.

I wonder if there's a (simple syntactical) way to unlink the constness of unique pointers and their targets. It's not a huge obstruction, but seems like an unnecessary restriction not found in the near-equivalent C++ construction.

Perhaps we will. I strongly doubt any of those will be even a slight success, unless released by the Atom team (which the copyleft license wouldn't affect).

They don't have VAT in the US, and their sales tax is a bit different. I'm not sure if it applies to digital purchases. However, the price difference is often larger than what taxes alone would suggest, but surely localization p

The only reason for midnight being a falsy value that I can think of is that someone thought that all objects should provide some functionality for __nonzero__/__bool__. It was a bad idea.

Well, I use spaces for marking whitespace in many cases. Just not for indenting, that's what tabs are for :).

The OS in the most basic of Nokia phones is commonly referred to as S30. It doesn't really need much active maintenance, though, because they mostly only change graphics and included games (and utilities) between those phones.
