Is there a solution where we can compel parental control to be enabled by default on kids phones? That would seem to be least intrusive option. Using the internet in the UK/EU is such a horrible experience, every cookie pop-up is a rem

In the UK, wind is primarily in Scotland away from most of the population - people don’t build where it’s windy. So transmission of solar should be less, as the sun shines everywhere, and people like to build houses where it shines the most

It’s important to make it clear to Americans that this problem is mostly solved in other countries. It should be possible to end this tomorrow in the US. Spam calls in the UK for example, are rare. All of the spam calls I get are from my US

The vast majority of newspaper articles/videos about this tech relate to innocent black people being flagged. Racism is certainly the biggest concern of the media, which may or may not reflect the publics general concern.

That’s what it’s like in the UK now. Legal streaming is much more complicated than satellite back in the day. As a consequence people have gone back to illegal streams where you can find all the sports on one menu.

Surprisingly I find it most useful on my email app. I pick up my phone to check email a lot, then go onto other useless apps. By catching email usage, I also stop myself going on the rest.

Their niche is trust. You cannot replicate overbearing paternalism as a USP without trust. If Microsoft only allowed installs from their App Store people would switch to Apple en mass.

So all the tech you bought fails when the company doesn’t renew? Although uk works on auctions and they work. Perhaps combine with restrictions on use - if you don’t use the spectrum, or use more than you need, it gets taken away
