As long as the tools and programs are WCAG/508-compliant, it should be good to go. Common to use Braille Readers or screen readers. I’d be curious if certain syntaxes are easier than others.

It was a great boom for Linux and OSX that a developer could make a Chrome OS app and literally be cross-platform (of course with some downsides). Odd move by Google IMO. I'm guessing less devs will support only Chrome OS apps.

I'm concerned about the mobile-friendly options for MM. Slack has pretty good iOS apps (and others, but I've never tried them). Does MM have quality mobile apps?

If you would take a slight stroll from your worldview to the "Biblical worldview" you learn about the theology of inspiration. See, Christians (most traditions) believe that God did not write the Bible. It is the common belief tha

That's a fair argument. However, the reason behind Knuth's conclusions are inevitably different than Trump's. So, I think it shouldn't be compared.

The slideshow issue is significant though. Where are the great FOSS presentation tools like Prezi or that have the polish of Keynote? The most recent PPT is decent. Trying to do presentations on a Nix machine is a nightmare.

Postmark App has been very effective for our platform. Very little gets flagged and they have an easy way for users to "appeal" and have their emails approved. The only thing (good and bad) is that if a vendor erroneously flags ou

But, that's okay. Throughout history they have had hits and misses. It doesn't change that this is their approach for how to be successful.

Considering tbeir R&D is relatively low, they do tremendous market research.

They identify an existing market and try to do it better than the existing players. It's not just marketing. That's an unfair statement.

This still seems to have a water to go, but it looks quite promising. Thanks.

I love this if only because of the built in straightening and OCR! It makes everything else sub-par.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I expect a post in he next day or so from Open Whisper people to lend credibility to this project. They seem to be the Go-To these days. Edit: and it is http://www.whispersystems.org/b

Why do you think they are so poorly supported? I know relatively few users have multi-GPU systems...it may be as simple as that, but I would have expected DX, OpenGL, and the new one from Valve (blanking right now, Vulcan?) would have impro

Either awesome move to crowdsource vulnerabilities and improve stability...or horrible internal mistake. The code (of course) isn't public, it's just that the kernel isn't encrypted. Some places are reporting it inaccurately.

Nice. I still wonder why HN seems hesitant to develop the HN platform further (although I'm relatively new to the site, so I don't know the history).

As do I, but the conversations I have on HN are more fascinating to me, so I'd actually rather have push-notifications on HN than Reddit. The biggest thing is still a better way to browse/post on iOS.

I get what they are saying, but the marketing copy on this is all wrong. The benedits/costs are written poorly and still make me think that it may not be a great device.

I find taxonomy useful, but I think Derrida is right that Searle was more preoccupied making SAT (and language in general) into a mathematical formula than the "art" of language. I think the only really crucial elements are: - loc

Actually, yes. I used to be an Apple Genius and whenever we dealt with two machines on separate LANs, that required NAT, there were so many problems with traversing the routers. We had to do manual setups with port forwarding or DMZ. Faceti
