This was my exact experience with their laptops. All of them. Great that there is a company that wants to do this. Not great that they have 0 transparency around refunds and supplychain.

Last time I tried to order a purism... I waited for 4 months and then took about a few weeks and multiple payments for a refund. Have they worked out their supply chain issues yet?

That's not true. Being able to programatically verify (via public private key) makes things like ssl/key authorities possible. That's a multi-billion dollar industry.
