A task that takes months is a project. I view tasks as something I could get done in one day with full focus. Then at the 2 day mark I reevaluate. The additional day can always act as a buffer.

I think the Yin and Yang in this case is very much needed. We need states to push forward while others are slower to adopt. This will allow us to test new things while also providing a fallback in case the plan doesn't work.

Honestly netflix is the main platform I have kept around since 2000's. All other platform I signup to catch up on shows and then cancel after a month. I think netflix has the best all around library for my entire family to enjoy.

One example is drug waste. Insulin for example is charged per vial to the patient but usually only a minimal fraction is actually used and the remainder is disposed of.
