Yeah, those real-time notifications of "{User} has done {Action}" always raise my suspicions that the website is a scam. Since they are almost always on dubious looking ecommerce sites, or scammy betting or crypto web applications

Would this technique have been faster? A single pass: paginating through all entries in the bucket without deletion, just to build up your index of files. And then using that index to delete objects in parallel.

Nice! very easy on-boarding/signup flow. The only hiccup I had was on the first screen for signup, the Facebook panel is so prominent (while the email signup is far less so) that I thought the only sign-up option was to use a Facebook

Github Pages does pretty much everything you've listed. Also Github Pages explicity allows companies to setup and host their corporate websites on there. PROS: It is free, always available, and the deploy is easy once you get the hang

You could tie your cheap or free Openshift/Heroku to multiple free BackBlaze B2 storage accounts. Depending on how 'grey' you're willing to behave you can get away with doing a lot on a virtually free infrastructure.
