I’m not sure how true this is, Opus 5 immediately used 2 subagents on the first task I gave it on Friday. In fact my first thought was how it was similar to Fable in that sense.

Maybe more accurately I should have said “larger”. Fable has the most parameters, Haiku has the fewest. Also fwiw I’ve never found LLM benchmarks to match reality based on my own usage, not for the large frontier models or smaller open weig

I think you’re just lucky. Look at the Claude status page to see just how often they have outages (it’s almost daily). Even most of the green days have issues if you hover over them, they just don’t count them as outages.
