   What a farce. The use of the ML for background subtraction is almost inconsequential to the contribution of the paper and the result.

   Actually AV1, H.265, and VP9 are coding formats, while AOM AV1 reference software, x265, and libvpx-vp9 are codecs... while were being pedantic.

   If there are errors in a study's methods that make it unreplicable, then it shouldn't have passed peer review or been published.
