It's always a cat and mouse game however. Once they employ machine learning, I'm assuming the spammers will adapt and create reviews that fool the algorithm(though at an increased initial cost).

It could simply be a case of disillusionment at Tesla. Also Apple employees are known to leave Apple, either to start a company or for a sabbatical but then go back to working at Apple once they're done.

The main process or any parent process can be made to not block by spawning sub-processes that handle an entire group of child processes , so I don't see how that is a problem.

No actor-model based language has this problem, so perhaps all it comes down to is baking in the right(or even any decent) concurrency support from the start, at the language level.

I think there's another option. You could hire a freelancer and have him/her fix the bugs and get it working on Yosemite. Depending on the complexity of the code, this may or may not be feasible.
