I wish I had not read this. I am not kidding when I say this is ruining my day thinking about. One thing is they ruin our times. But they are in the game of ruining the rest of time for humankind, too.

Are you like 90? Sound like my Granddad. He’s not saying anyone owes him anything. Stop being a boomer without a cause.

I will start migrating from uv, ty and ruff first thing this weekend. It will be painful but not being dependent on OpenAI will be more than worth it.

That’s a pretty low confidence if we measure confidence in dollars willing to risk

Could you tell me how you do this in code ? Started using uv in a very old school team and they don’t like uv simply because it’s new. Something like this is what they base it on.

Been working 8 years with Rs data.table package in research and now after I changed to the private sector I have to use python and pandas. Pandas are so terrible compared to data.table it defies belief. Even tidyverse is better than pandas

Yes it pretty much is. This is why your comparison doesn’t work that well. Also in a physical store you can’t shield the rest of the customers from the content some want but others don’t. So your companies no sense really.

There is a bug when using qutebrowser (using arch linux) - when turning on the sound, the TV turns off (e.g. goes to black-and-white-noise-mode). When turning off the sound, the TV turns on again. On google chrome, all is well. Just for FYI

This seems very very interesting. I'm still learning python so probably can't build on this. But like a cheap mans' version of this would be to take a screenshot every couple of minutes, OCR it and send to it gpt for some kin
