when the only people using it are grifters and speculators I think that points pretty clearly to the fact that it has no real world utility :)

there is a reason twitter now reports 'user minutes' or whatever and no longer reports DAU. Because their active users are plummeting. If 1000 bots spend all day on twitter thats a lot of 'user minutes' but doesn't

Go start your own subreddit then if anyone can do it! I'm sure you'll have tons of users and it will be super popular!

Reddit is also basically hard down right now and has been for 30+ minutes and not a peep from their status page. Trying to impress investors by lying about their shitty site.

> Not only do they not have the integration, scale and user base of Google, Sure, but MSFT does. Well beyond the scale and user base google has.

I've been deep in the Google ecosystem for 10+ years and my sentiment has changed simply because their products suck now. Every offering they have is worse today than it was a year ago. Google assistant is borderline unusable in it

You just linked to a graph showing how much they are making off of their services that these ads are pushing. They are definitely making a lot of money off of this.

and it's a pool not paying them for services so they probably don't care about losing them.

Do you live in San Francisco? The people here are fully aware of how ridiculously dangerous the city has become. There is no 'performative outrage discourse'

ah interesting. I guess the lack of hazards here might indicate this wasn't a case of the driver ignoring the warnings. They should have been ready to hit the gas regardless.

Is this what happens when the driver ignores the steering wheel nag warning? I've never let mine get to that point but I think the car pulls over and stops? (Not saying what the Tesla did here was ok just curious if that's what it

the biggest issue with this plan (and one he certainly realized by now which is why he hasn't solved this problem) is that the majority of users and followers are simply bots or inactive users. as soon as he purges those and everyone&#

starship has nothing to do with Elon. I know some SpaceX employees. They let Elon run around like the child he his pretending to be an engineer while they do the real work (and take his money)

My favorite part is that Elon's follower count has only been increasing since he bought the platform despite his many public admissions that most of those accounts are bots. notice how when he bans bots from posting he doesn't del

no, it isn't. defrauding and taking advantage of vulnerable people looking to better their lives is the definition of a terrible person.

calling Austen a CEO is like calling Bernie Madoff an investor. sure maybe it's 'technically' true, but they're both just clueless scammers looking to make a buck.
