Let him know there is a minor bug with the brake. If you hold an arrow key and then hold brake, the square will slow down but then speed up briefly and finally slow down for good.

I think what you are describing is really how to learn. It's not that you require a test in order to remember material, you just need to implement what you have read in order to reinforce what you have read into memory. Humans remember
