i think by "win" he means break the stalemate. the ai in that game sucked and only stayed competitive by cheating. he should have been able to wipe out the opposing civs after 10 years of playing. especially since the op said he was only

I definetely recommend viper mode. You'll have to install vimpulse also to make it really functional, but once you do that you should feel right at home. Just remember that ctrl-z toggles/untoggles it! So if you ever get into a non viper

I agree. If he means developers who only spent time on programming related things during the 9-5 and not during their free time, maybe I can understand. Good developers should be passionate and will probably spend their free time learning

Yeah, if your talking about eclipse, I'm a bit surprised myself also. The only big thing I can think of that it is lacking is type searching. Maybe quick hints too but thats not that big of a deal. Other than that it gives autocompletion

even better, use viper mode in emacs.. you get all the keybindings of vim and you don't have to write vimscript to customize your editor

Either way they are all doing a terrible job. How long have they had webOS? Like a year and a half? How many products have they managed to ship out in that time? Like 2? Guess you can't buy your way out of incompetence.
