I believe that's a "einfachen Arbeitszeugnis". But the employee has the right to a "qualifizierten Arbeitszeugnis" so one of these days someone might come back and ask you for a grading one.

Thanks. It was only 3 weeks ago that I send a few invitations to companies to publish their jobs directly. Right now there are only 63 own jobs for 1183 external. I hope that changes in the future but I guess it will need time and more expo

Yes, I know your feeling. But sometimes you need to be pragmatic, specially when resources are limited, and in many use cases you can stick to the standard ORM functionality and forget about what's underneath.

At work we are moving from Postgresql to MySQL, simply because for our current needs both will do just fine, and as of today, thanks to galera cluster, a high availability setup in MySQL is much easier to operate.

In an ideal world yes. Or if your software works already seamlessly cross-datacenter. But in the real world is rare that your hosting provider is good at both VMs and metal. At least that's the biggest problem I've always encounte
