The author also claims the Gini coefficient doesn't take into count population growth and so skews the number. That is completely wrong. It's calculated using the Lorenzo curve which which is a per capita calculation.

At this point, unless I'm going to be dealing with large (n>5000) data sets, I just use NSKeyedArchiver and serialize/deserialize all my objects to a file. Might not be as fast as CoreData, but is sure a lot easier to code and
