   I'm not sure I agree with your argument. People say a lot of things on these boards "for the lolz", or so they say. I don't know how far the defense gets you. Can swatting be for the lolz?

   Karma is given to reward good contributions. There is perhaps an optimal scaling of each type of upvote, but without further study, a 1:1 ratio seems pretty reasonable.

   Maybe the reason you didn't get more upvotes is it's hard to do security right, and why should we believe your service?
