There's a keyboard shortcut configuration for Illustrator users. Modifiers too, I hear the difference between ctrl and shift really hurts moving between programs. Not a problem since 1.1

Did you know, Inkscape used to have live sharing of documents. It was removed because no one wanted to maintain it. It's not impossible to imagine it being added back in though. Maybe with updated technology.

This is the opposite of reality for SVG. Inkscape is the only tool pushing the SVG standard forward right now. Mesh gradients, SVG2.0 text flow, and much more besides. None of it supported by Adobe, Chrome, Firefox or librsvg. Only found in
