   Why not simply separate versioning into product and technical like Microsoft Visual Studio as an example: Product version: Visual Studio 2019 Technical version: 16.0.1 It fits good for marketing and for developer people.

   I would prefer .NET Core for all future work. With their nice stack like CoreRT and X-Plat features it's very smooth to work.

   Okok. The features are neat. But what we really need is Polar for EVERYTHING! PDF, docx, jpg, MD, ... All of them, like a new modern Filesystem. But with Metadata and auto OCR... That would revolutionary!
