There are a lot of ways the illusion of more detail than there actually is is given. Simulation cost saving measures so to say. E.g.: Detail in memory fades quite quickly. Vision is not as detailed as we think.

Most if not all your points are moot if optional WfH is implemented. Which is what all the proponents of WfH want. I don't think anyone want's to force people to work from home. Just give us the options.
