iOS apps are shipped as fat binaries, so for one, part of that 100mb app is duplicated slices of binaries for armv7, arm64 and possibly, but not likely, armv7s. Android apps enjoy bytecode that is getting JIT-ed on install.

It's based on Pentium 4 core which was extremely overclock-able, plus it's a single core, which makes it easier to get to that stable enough for a screenshot state.

Well, they price Coda Lite 1/5th the price of OSX version. So they get roughly 1/5h of the revenue. Math works out. They could try and price Coda iOS at $99, but Cabel is right — it's just not that important platform for dev

No, I have to use linux desktop at work form time to time and constantly amazed how fucking terrible it is. I think I would rather use OSX on Asus hardware.

This probably would not help in this case, but, the app should have an emergency button that'll call the police and provide vehicle info and driver details with a real-time coordinates to them. It really is a no-brainer from tech poi

VK was a total clone of FB UI of that time. And it still is in many ways, but the irony is that UI is so much better than what FB did afterwards, just night and day.

Didn't bart used to have restrooms on every station until 9/11 ? Anyways, Palo Alto has a bunch of public ones and all of them are damn gross. Worse than civic center plaza. I wonder how hard (expensive) is it to keep them clean.
