Given the effort required to put cabling in e.g. mine is underneath plaster, future proofing it as best you can could save aggravation in the kind of timeframe that people live in houses for.

The #MeToo movement covers a lot of people. Any mass movement will include some more extreme than others. I don't believe your characterisaton of the movemnt is a fair description of the average person who is part of it.

Is point 5 true for the newest tunnels like the Jubilee Line Extension? I think the DLR has an emergency walkway in the tunnels to Bank. I am expecting Crossrail will too.

The Docker images are smaller for Linux for one. Our team use the Linux version in tests during builds just for that. We are relying that Microsoft manage to keep the two versions close enough that it's meaningful.
