   Fun game! I had a king and knight vs a king and the game automatically ended in a draw. I was looking forward to figuring out how to find checkmate with a rook promotion, but maybe it wouldn't have been possible before the demotion hap

   Looks like a cool project. Have you made any attempts at transcribing the moves if the phone is being hand held? (shaking/moving, no on a static tripod)

   Love the amalgamation approach—the C/C++ ecosystem desperately needs cleaner, lightweight Unicode support without pulling in massive dependencies... thanks for sharing
