I think that is the "challenge" with dnsmasq. In addition to caching DNS it also does, dhcp, authoritative DNS, BOOTP and TFTP.

Thank you. I tried that. Having the interface run under Xwayland caused a ton of problems with my monitors. I also don't use a lot of QT apps so not being able to paste was a problem.

Yes I saw that and also took it to mean the person didn't read the article. A text to your phone number? The article never mentions SMS. Heck I think the 2g/3g "feature" does not even require the phone to even have a SIM
