I would say you should have held onto the DVDs. That way you can some claim to way you transcoded the media to a format you could use.

You could try SchemaSpy http://schemaspy.org/ Downsides are I need to have the Java JVM installed to use it. Also had to do some make a custom property file to make it work with postgres 12 the last time I used it.

My understanding is that docker on the mac uses some sort of vm to run the containers. Docker Toolbox use VirtualBox and Docker Desktop uses HyperKit. https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-mac/docker-toolbox/

I wouldn't say "updating them regularly". The last three updates were in 2018, 2014, and 2012. That 4 year stretch without an update had many thinking they would just discontinue the Mac Mini.
