What about all the drivers who take major risks daily by playing with their phones? This makes even legal speeds dangerous, at least these guys were looking ahead and aware of their situation.

It is possible to map most controls in a DAW via MIDI and possibly provide a touch interface, or more tactile controls (sliders and knobs). Live looping for example, only requires a few foot switches.

I've been kind of hoping for this, all that high-end DSLR gear will suddenly become affordable on the used market. With photography, at least to me, you don't need the latest and greatest thing.

But it is not instant. This is used when you are making an external HTTP request over the Internet, to a server that may or may not respond instantly (if at all), over a link that may be saturated at any point in time.

Technical reasons? There are none. This is customer/sales driven, normal (non-technical and the majority) customers don't want to bother with technical bandwidth/transfer non-sense.

I'm not impressed, this is 'residential' service we are talking about here. If you want to host services, get static IP blocks, run BGP, pay more for a business-grade service.
