Yet another Google account/service-banning horror story. For this reason, I proactively migrated off Gmail earlier this year to Fastmail. Very happy that I did. The only important thing I have left on Google now is 15 years of Location

There is no reason philanthropy cannot be used to tackle multiple issues at once. I'm not sure there is a lot value in deriding one cause over another. We need to address both issues.

Awesome looking tool. One thing I noticed, however: $ false; echo success@$? | jo {"success":true} i.e. jo's translation of integers to booleans does not match that of a typical shell.

Python's PEP8 recommends underscores for functions, method names and instance vars, but the stats are showing a break down of camelCase with and without first capital letter (which shouldn't really be relevant).

One key difference here for me is that the word "hacks" might imply that the addition of hacks to that file are acceptable; where as the word "shame" implies that the hacks are less than acceptable and should be used as a last resort.
