What a cynical view - and coming from me, that's pretty bad. Things can improve, and in fact, they have improved quite a bit over the last several centuries. The appeal to authority of the ancient Greeks is sometimes a good one I guess

So why do people trust the dissenting scientists? What leads them to that option over simply going with the majority? I've never understood that, but the cynic in me thinks they're simply looking for someone that they already agre

As someone mostly in the dark about bitcoin and the community around it, why does this matter at all? Why do people care who created it at this stage, and if that person should come forth, what would the impact be? What could such a person

I'm not the guy you were originally asking, but I've had issues with page turns on my Voyager. I think it's a pagination ordering issue - if I've been reading on my phone, and then open my Kindle and sync to the location

You're not wrong, but deployment is rarely simple. And there are gotchas in every environment I've ever worked with. It's just a different set of skills to pick up, no different from any others.

There's something to what you're saying. Our industry is a big lover of the next big thing. We collectively waste so much time and productivity by constantly changing the rules of the game.

It's certainly a rigged system, but (anecdote incoming) I know many people in situations such as you describe, and the most that the majority (not all) do about it is complain. I rarely see a true effort put forth to rectify or improve

That sort of argument just comes off as a word game to me, I don't really know what to say to it. It is similar to saying no one dies when they jump out of a window, it is the impact that kills them.

This a very shortsighted view - of course creators lose money due to pirating. I'm not even speaking about the concept of sells they may have had in place of theft - that is simple conjecture. There is no doubt that less money flowing in to
