There’s no Citibike in Seattle but I do see and use LikeBikes and Ofo bikes myself. They seem universally loved.

I like the name and idea, but I agree that the ads are way too big - especially on mobile.

Speak for yourself. I would definitely give a shit if someone who applied to my theoretical company worked at a top-tier company.

Can you be more specific in what how they’re not rising to the challenge? I think the live stream quality and synchronization is incredible. All my friends gather at lunch and the video and sound play together exactly.

Have you seen iOS11? Apple doesn't seem to value testing too much

How do you pick a wife and get married and have kids by 25? That’s simply impossible for people that don’t marry their high school sweetheart and stay together through college

Yup. I hate how online matchmaking these days has made away with the community feel that picking your own server provided.

I second this. I'm currently on a team that has a couple senior engineers, but neither of them are true experts of what our team does (iOS). One has decades of web dev experience while the other has decades of Java service experience.

In Seattle I’ve seen all 3 types of ridesharing bikes (LimeBike, Spin, Ofo) being used fairly frequently - especially when it’s nice outside.

I don’t think there’s a real stigma for people who can afford to rent an apartment but live in an RV... it’s almost hip at this point. However I don’t think it’s as practical as you think. Addresses are very important.

Well, the question is why did Google wait the 2 non-required years before shutting it down? Seems like something they wouldn’t just forget about.

You underestimate the draw of new and shiny. All my friends that use iPhones skipped the 8, and most are dying to get the X. I am betting that Apple struggles to meet demand.

I really wish Apple would focus more on getting Xcode up to par. It's in a truly horrid state, both performance and feature-wise. Developing an Objective-C app is worlds ahead of Swift right now.

Traffic has gotten so much worse since I first came here in 2011. The good news is that Seattle is small enough that you can walk to most places just fine, and the bus and light rail systems are fantastic.

If picking the winners is impossible, how would picking the inverse set (e.g. losers) be any different?
