> A decently sized apartment is fine for most cats, psychologically. And how do you objectively come to this conclusion? Could you say a human prisoner can learn to cope in a prison and present "psychologically" well, but it st

Instead of reinforcing the fuselage, I wonder if just having a 1/4 nacelle that shields the passenger side would work.

I really loved using slim and only recently abandoned it because the benefits for using Cursor to code were so good. Slim made views way easier to look at, understand, and code. I personally gained a lot of efficiency working with it.

Whether solid or liquid blankets, these guys seem clueless. How about the neutron shield? Gonna breed tritium as well? How long do they suspect reactor components can last w/o all the heat and neutron radiation?

Yes, I'm also interested. Will have a new baby, so while I'd like to do in-person, it wouldn't be feasible for the new few (or more?) batches. Though I still plan on grinding either way.

Are you aware of any visuals that show what the density distribution of DM looks like to fix the expected the rotation curves for some example galaxies?

This can be practiced! I was super into stereograms years back and have decent control now (not intentionally but happened naturally). Can slightly diverge to see smaller/far-away images or maximally diverge for the bigger/close-u

Very neat! So you wrote the graph visualization UI? I see in prior project you used cytoscape - any motivation for doing it yourself this time (vs one of the available libraries)?

You don't need warm water / electricity - you get completely used to the water temp after using a week or so. The bidets on Amazon (pretty cheap) work just fine and install onto most toilets in 10 minutes. Super easy and affordabl

There is no lift on a sphere or cylinder without rotation dude. The whole point of parent post is that the "proper" discussion does not inlay a good intuitive understanding of lift, which in my opinion, should start with "pus

Yea, I agree and try to explain it this way to friends. Airfoils help, but it's ultimately just the wing pushing air down and why planes can fly upside down. FWIW, aerospace engineering degree, used xFoil, did tons of fluid sims, etc.

I think the target market is huge. My wife, for example, spends tons of time writing out stuff for Instagram posts, some quite long. And I see tons more across social media that is largely done on people's phones.

I think, for one, it is important to note that Christian doesn't say "go quiet". He said "quiet down", and those carry different interpretable implications regardless of context (the latter having much less potentia

Yea, that's a fair point. Though I'd still be upset if I'm waiting in a line of Waymos turning left that go once per light change when I'm not in a self-driving car.

They mention unprotected left turns. I'm really curious how this will be handled in LA because there are a lot, and if you aren't at least a little aggressive, you will miss lights constantly. And some lights are miserable if the

Awesome pain point yall fixing here. Do any of these firms provide actual, document APIs intended for external use? I'd happily drop my current brokerages and switch to a consumer-friendly brokerage that supported this.
