Gboard is somehow still the best, the native android keyboard is hardly usable. I use it on GrapheneOS, but with network permissions removed. Haven't had an issue so far

I have been using GrapheneOS now for 8 month and its been quite a smooth ride. The biggest worry I had was flashing it onto a brand new Pixel phone I had just bought. Everything else works fine though. Currently using 3 (german) banking app

In the end it comes down to the actual implementation. The article states that the data stored is just a hash of the iris scan. From that hash accounts can be created that can be used to verify against that hash to make sure your are an act
