I’m similar but have three main editors: Vim for super quick changes (I’d like to increase my proficiency with vim but not really done much to do so). Vscode for light text editing : coding which doesn’t require me to dig in to debug for a

Where I get confused is storing the tokens securely. There's a lot of conflicting information online. I've come across many examples where they suggest localStorage which is a horrible idea. A lot of the advice I see now is about

I think this is a great resource but wish it had not chosen a hybrid architecture. All the guides on decoupled Django seem to choose hybrid. It makes sense because you get the CSRF / XSS safety benefits but I'd love to see how oth

I'm similar but I tend to use spotlight for launching. I do sometimes use the dock but all animations are disabled and it's hidden by default.

AI written content should really be banned. I don't want to read content from a bot I want to read content from a human.

Whenever I obtain a 'smart' TV, I never connect it to the internet. I don't want a TV that can phone home.

Looks good. I recently just created my own custom new tab extension. Closed source because it's literally just for me. It does a few nieche things e.g. syncing a todo list that also appears on a e-ink display. I like it. I also like th

This was my opinion. Saying it's either blue or green when it looks to be a bit of both didn't sit well with me.

I'm not sure why but it made me feel nauseous. Did not like. I couldn't continue to read either.

It is if you have an account. I browse Reddit anonymously and I wanted to get rid of the subreddit styles — hence why I put this together quickly.

Likely yes but not everyone knows how (thinking the non-tech people here) and plus I think it’s nice just to be able to grab a quick extension and be done with it.

This immediately came to my mind as well. This will be abused. It’s not an “if” but a “when”.

The thing is though, as you said, it's my personal iPhone. If I want to be able to install an unsigned app I should be able to. There should be ways to dissuade the non-technical people but my feeling is it is my iPhone so I should be

I've had this conversation with quite a few people recently. As I say to them, once the genie is out of the bottle it's hard to put it back in again. People will simply go to companies who allow them to be remote or more flexible.

I'm also not clear why this is US only. There's definitely a market in other areas of the world. I'd be interested to know why it should be US only.

This is my ideal scenario kinda. A company that is remote first but has offices near where you can go and work with your co-workers when it makes sense. It just seems like most places these day is one or the other in terms of remote or full
