If you're not against supporting Apple, their laptops always seem to have the most longevity. I am still running my M1 with 8G of RAM and it out performs the latest "top of the line" Windows laptops my work are handing out. P

You can already see this in action - I love when my iPhone brings up those little curated albums from events or people. I can only imagine how much better those will become with more and more photos and better intelligence.

Agree it is crazy, I am writing this from my M1 Air with 8GB of RAM and I am yet to ever have a real issue with a RAM limitation... the OS does an amazing job juggling RAM.

Yeah I often think about this too... everything today feels so complex, although VB was probably just as complex under the hood. The complexity was just masked by the GUI and WYSIWYG interface.

Yeah I am finding this too. Open the camera and it switches lenses almost 100% of the time. So the image shifts within a second. Just a bit jarring and very un-apple.

I did the same thing a few years back, I love it. It has allowed me to find where my emails are being leaked. So far not too many which is good, the biggest and worst were ledger and instagram.

Meteor uses `minimongo` on the client which sync's with the server; effectively doing the same thing. It's actually amazing how much better the UX is when you have spotty coverage.

This doesn't seem to work on desktop? I've never heard of F as the more 'human' temperature range. Don't you either use C or F. Since I've never used F it doesn't seem more human to me.
