What do you like about Safari that iOS Brave is missing? We are quite a bit faster than Safari, and our private mode is more aggressive against things like cookies and writing data to disk.

(iOS engineer at Brave here) All iOS browsers are based on webkit. WKWebView, which is what we use, does have full access to content blockers. This is how we do ad-blocking, HTTPSE upgrades, and script blocking.

It won't effect Brave. Brave is a Chromium fork, not an extension, so have full control over the browser/APIs.

Apps can be distributed outside of the app store, but you need to know specific device information. Not very difficult though if you have physical access to the phone.

Take a look at USB Overdrive. I have been able to map most of my peripherals there, even odd macro keys that random keyboards have. From there you can always combine it with BetterTouchTool (or something similar), to remap the now findable

It would still make a significant difference since someone could still compromise your Dropbox account... Having a password manager doesn't all of the sudden make all of your passwords secure on all of your different accounts.

Google has had extremely impressive _software_ capabilities for this for awhile [0], and the results in person are extremely impressive. The field can even be chosen by the user. Given the camera quality, I doubt much (any?) of a difference
