My main issue with Gemini remains the hard requirement of TLS. It makes it useless in a bunch of situations where it could actually excel. I guess ultimately it doesn’t matter, Gopher has more content, more services, and more users.

I love them, but don’t think they’ve held up over time. This is subjective, but they just don’t feel right on modern, wide, high resolution displays. The acceleration always feels wrong and UI elements have gotten smaller or nearly vanished
