I somewhat agree - but given that no meaningful piece of software has ever shipped without bugs being punted (and bugs that weren't even known about), when is there really time to add an easter egg?

Re: terminating a job, in many states employment can be legally terminated without reason (both by the employer and the employee). See "at will employment".

Thanks - yeah I will certainly need to shift my thinking away from c#-style (read: Visual Studio) development. As for pdb, I guess I've been spoiled by Visual Studio's debugging - hover to see values, step through source code, etc
