It won't happen within a few years. Boomers are still relatively healthy thanks to improved health care. If you count on that, then you should expect at least decades more.

In these days, a lot of SSD makers have AES engine inside, it encrypts and decrypts on-the-fly. I don't understand the usage of AES in T2.

I will not use any service that requires to specify my personal info such as real name, address, phones anymore unless it is tightly coupled to my offline life (financial, hiring). Even email can link many scattered info into one and guess

But I don't think they are going to be next Silicon Valley soon. Their wages are skyrocketing now. Average salaries of engineers in Beijing is around $50k now. (Maybe Shanghai be similar?) This might hold them back in my opinion.

I gave up WSL after experiencing significant performance drop on GHC, Stackage. It was less than 1/10th of native for compiling Haskell code.

The only thing could get from Optane is QD1 performance. It is impressive (5x faster than current gen NVMe SSD). But everything else is just soso compared to NVMe SSD.

I don't think GP is talking about SATA SSD. Based on the performance, definitely it is PCIe NVMe SSD ( 960 IMO )

Even Android shows slow responses, the problem of Fi is that the ringing time is just TOO short. really short. maybe 15 seconds in total? So if my phone tries to connect wireless between TMO and SPRINT, it has really high chance to drop the
