It’s not moot because had Tesla had greater volume, one might be able to more easily justify the higher number of deaths. However the volume is still relatively smaller and therefore the higher number of deaths is still significant.

I did not read the comment as advocating for debtors prisons. My understanding is that those were (are) for individuals who cannot pay a debt. Instead, I assume the parent commentor meant something more along the lines of a Bernie Madoff.

But we are talking about sqlite, right? By default the database is locked once a write occurs, so there could not be concurrent transactions writing to the database.
