I've heard a lot of wild conspiracy theories, but that one is new to me. To be fair, I do not believe the conspiracy theories, just that the inaction we're seeing is feeding credibility to the people peddling them.

Not just the democrats. Republicans, Bahamian officials, members of the media, regulators, etc. The most recent New York Times piece did not mention fraud or criminality a single time, painting SBF as someone who simply got in over his head

Yes, it was fractional (in the sense there wasn’t enough gold to redeem), but the peg held. Economies grow much faster than gold reserves! The US still has the most gold in the word by a vast margin.

When I hear it from business leaders, there are three logical reasons 1) exposure to the housing market 2) poor performance by the company (its the economy's fault!) or 3) an excuse to trim fat from a high-margin company that's aw

I generally agree that no one that isnt a professional devops person (or has spent months tuning IAM and route53 policies) should be using AWS. That said, GCP is so much easier to use and easily usable by a novice because it has a lot of go

You deposit USDC as collateral into dydx (or another derivatives exchange) and then you go short the perpetual (kind of like a future). I made 150% on my account equity shorting Luna when UST fell under 0.95.
