I'd love to see a new version of this in a little while with a few things reconsidered: 1. Portability is very important here, making it fold up small and be light 2. Simpler mechanism. Seems like it's too complicated to be easily

True but misleading. Natural gas has taken over, not renewables. Either way, hope to see an article declaring renewables make more power than natural gas soon.

YouCompleteMe will know the specifics of the language you are in so it will be much better at simple syntax, this will be able to learn how you generally do things and repeated patterns, which usually also will get a good bit of the syntax

I've heard it said that success is its own reward, and I think that in some ways that can be true. It's probably not a good idea to treat them the same, but maybe trying to celebrate the effort, not the outcome.
