I guess it was too good to keep up. I always spent the 3.99 for anything over $100 or so for piece of mind (and shopping satisfaction admittedly). I'll probably do it a lot less often now.

Some more details would be nice. Assos is one of the most expensive cycling brands out there, so it could very easily be a case of "obviously too good to be true". I for one tend to buy Prime items only. No hassle and fast deliver
