Kinda of a moot point. AS Android phones have already started the move to USB-C, there are already USB-C headphones coming out. Like on the HTC10 for example.

I've recently gone from 10.9, to 10.10, then back. On a 2014 15" Retina, 10.10 is slower. Slower to boot. Slower to drag/move windows (jitters). Slower login screen. Mouse zoom that follows the pointer is horrible. Even with

Sometimes it's not even gems/libs, but dist specific patches to the language itself. RHEL used to be notorious for breaking their Perl 5 dists. The first rule of Perl was to compile your own the server.
