Windows has never felt more archaic than now. I can't imagine trying to do work on a Windows machine in the age of LLMs. If there is anything that LLMs are rock solid at these days, it's unix terminal usage.

Fable is great minus it's annoying writing style. It's nowhere near as bad as Opus 5 but it's very "AI trope-y" even with heavy steering. I can spot the writing immediately.

It is, but it still feels better that the money goes toward the artist than it does to go to a middleman. Reality is there is no good solution IMO, no matter what you do, someone is missing out. Just the reality of supply vs demand.
