GC's CDN doesn't cache files bigger than 4Mb. No Windows VMs. Bound to AWS for these 2 reasons.

There are companies who build commercial products from that open source projects. The most obvious example is format converters. There are tens of products build around free ImageMagick and ffmpeg.

Freemium isn’t the only option to allow people try the app before buying it. There are free trials that allows to use the app for several days and then asking to pay the full price to continue using it.
