I’m not fawning over it but it’s - usually better than Google - has actually useful features (smush BS listicle articles together, weight/block sites) - if you don’t use any searches that month, they’ll just straight up refund the mont

Wait is that why my airpods (playing via my Mac) sound like crap as soon as somebody calls me? Cause the microphone turns on?

I have a similar alias for borkdude’s ‘jet’ tool. The extra nice thing about jet is you can convert json into edn, then pipe it into an inline babashka repl where you can inspect the object with all the power of clojure. It is super duper n

I don’t think GPT is any better. I swear GPT-3 was the golden area of LLM prose. With a good fine tuning, you really couldn’t tell that an AI was writing (except for when it would devolve into utter nonsense lol)

I’ve found some of my favorite TUI apps by scrolling around in the built-with-ratatui page. I have always bounced off of rust but ratatui must be a great library!!

It’s not maintainable by humans because there’s not a single human person who actually wrote any of it. But I guess it’s maintainable by LLMs. Which is part of the anthropic marketing

Yeah it seems pretty LLM to me. Even the extra emphasis on stuff via bold/highlights is there. Kinda whack. Also the “angry” one is just not at all angry or offensive. Probably because there’s a limit to how rude Claude will get

Wow it’s aggressively vibe coded. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but it looks a bit amateurish which is funny. I’m still waiting on 98.css to become the standard for vibe coded sites. You don’t have to read docs anyway if you’re just u

That’s how I fell into the black hole too, lol. Missed a jump. I was orbiting it for like a whole minute trying to boost back to safety. Being so close to it, desperately trying to escape as the light was bending every which way. Or when yo

If somebody feels no fear while zooming towards a black hole, their brain has some strange wires crossed. Strongly recommend Outer Wilds. Falling into the black hole the first time was one of my most scared moments in gaming. I was totally

Anecdotally, GPT-3 was super good at creative writing. It didn’t have any of the typical LLM giveaways. It would write super weird, interesting stuff. Especially if fine-tuned on a specific author. Of course it would occasionally descend in

Yeah that was the only really surprising part to me. So every time copilot breaks my source code to “fix” its crappy unit tests, does it know what it’s doing?

That happened to me to! A similar moment of weakness: I got tired of being locked out of like half of small business profiles. A local brewery (very small brewery, but top tier beers) posts on instagram if they’ll even be open that day. Cav
