Agreed on Lambda latency costs. I've used it to process API calls and I noticed it can add almost half a sec to the response or sometimes even longer.

According to the article NATO is holding an emergency meeting in brussels so I wouldn't say this is a story hyped up by social media. It's a sign that things are getting very messy and have major potential for escalation.

Why was 'mobile last' a takeaway from a hackathon? Most dev's probably focused their efforts on the breakpoint they would demo. It is possible that are indeed doing 'mobile last' but I wouldn't conclude that
