It is! But it works. Native eval support will come to Workers at some point, though. We will reevaluate Kitesurf's architecture when that happens. Shouldn't be hard to migrate, we have all the logic in place now.

As we explained in the blog, tests — and WPT tests specifically — were extremely important to get Kitesurf off the ground so fast, and still are as we move to higher API coverage. We have been keeping a close eye on BiDi as well.

Absolutely. I have lots of fun restoring old machines; it's one of my favourite hobbies. Not only do I get a nostalgia kick from remembering systems from my younger years, but I also learn a great deal about how they worked internally

Portugal has no electricity as we speak. Funny enough telcos and 4G/5G are fine for now, I'm guessing batteries and diesel backups kicked in and are doing their job.

yeah you're both right, WCS is on the main board in PAL machines, but not the Kickstart ROMs. I got confused because when I finally fixed the issues with the CPU socket I already had the Parceiro plugged in and it injects Kickstart on

Funny enough, a few years later Commodore offered a port of Unix System V that ran on the Amiga 3000, I actually played with it in my University. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga_Unix

Well, kind of. The Z80 and the 6502 (well, 8502 actually) CPUs share the same bus, and so there can only be one CPU running at one point in time. However afaik in CP/M and Z80 mode there are some I/O functions for the keyboard etc
